Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Diffusion/Implant Chamber Equipment Engineer to support RTP and DPN chambers on AMAT Vantage and Centura platforms. You will help maintain state‑of‑the‑art anneal chambers while driving improvements in quality, efficiency, defect reduction, and cost of ownership.

Safety, learning, and teamwork are emphasized in a 24/7 operation. The role requires analyzing data, coordinating with vendors, and implementing TPM/LEAN-based solutions to improve tool performance

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with 300mm diffusion/implant anneal.
• 5+ years semiconductor experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain anneal chambers and enable stable processing.
• Develop recovery plans for abnormalities and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with vendors and schedule tool work.
• Document tool activities and share learnings across the team.
• Follow SOPs and LEAN practices to improve efficiency.
• Support 24/7 high-volume manufacturing operations.
