Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions seeks an Interventionist to provide targeted instruction for identified students, monitor progress, and adjust instructional plans accordingly. You will support teachers, track progress with multiple measures, and participate in ongoing professional development to improve student outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with district specialists and administration, as well as adherence to school rules and policies while pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teacher’s certification.
• Valid Texas ESL certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of Texas Assessment Program, district curriculum, and TEKS.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of RtI and district documentation process.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of intervention techniques and programs.
• Ability to use computers proficiently for word processing, presentations, and record-keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily focused instruction in small groups to support struggling students and accelerate progress.
• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining progress monitoring records and anecdotal information.
• Use various assessments and monitoring tools to diagnose and prescribe student needs and monitor progress daily.
• Participate in required professional development and district meetings.
• Work with district content area specialists and program directors.
• Meet regularly with school administration to review student progress.
• Pursue opportunities for lifelong learning and professional growth.
• Uphold school rules and policies.
• Perform other duties to improve student achievement.
