Job summary

Irving Independent School District is seeking a Title I Intervention Specialist to support identified struggling students through the RTI process and SSP meetings. The position reports to campus leadership and requires a Bachelor’s degree, Texas teaching certification, and three years of classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas teaching certification.
• Minimum 3 years classroom experience.
• Reading/Math Specialist certification preferred.
• Valid Texas Bilingual/ESL – Spanish certificate/endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily focused instruction in small group math or literacy settings.
• Assist the classroom teacher with progress monitoring records and SSP data.
• Use assessments to diagnose and prescribe needs and monitor progress.
• Participate in PLCs and grade level meetings to support intervention.
• Engage in district professional development and collaborate with specialists.
• Meet regularly with administration to report student progress.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and adhere to school policies.
