Job summary

GALLO is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for RTD/Beer to accelerate growth across assigned markets in California. You will execute strategic sales plans, deliver revenue goals, and maximize contribution by partnering with distributors and priority accounts.

You will act as GALLO's market representative, building distributor focus, strengthening relationships, and turning market insights into action while coordinating launches and national programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Gallo sales, marketing, or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of alcohol beverage or CPG sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of Gallo sales, marketing, or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at time of hire; motor vehicle check will be performed; may require license based on location within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must obtain liquor license as required by state/locality and maintain eligibility.
• Travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
• Must see, taste, and smell alcohol beverages and perform product tastings.
• Experience in strong leadership selling, time management, and public speaking.
• Travel to company offices/sites for onboarding, training, meetings, and events up to 5% of time.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic sales plans and deliver revenue goals across assigned markets.
• Maximize contribution by partnering with distributors and priority retail and on-premise RTD and Beer accounts.
• Build distributor focus, strengthen customer relationships, and translate market insights into action.
• Assess performance data, develop pricing and forecasts, coordinate new product launches.
• Coach and develop field sales resources and participate in tastings and community events.
