Job summary

GALLO External Sales is seeking a Sales Account Specialist Lead for Ready to Drink and Beer in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead in-market teams, set expectations, coach teams, and drive execution across assigned accounts and markets to bring GALLO brands to life.

You will expand distribution, enhance visibility, and manage brand activations, trainings, and consumer engagement initiatives where permitted. The role requires collaboration, data-driven decisions, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2–3 years in winery/distributor sales or related marketing experience or a high school diploma with 7 years in winery/distributor sales or related roles.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable vehicle required at time of hire; motor vehicle check will be conducted.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willing to travel up to 80% for business.
• Ability to lift/move product up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must obtain liquor license as required by state/local regulations.
• Travel to company offices/sites for onboarding/training up to 5% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead forward-deployed Sales Account Specialists and drive accountability across accounts and markets.
• Build advocacy with retailers, buyers, and on-premise partners for GALLO RTD and Beer brands.
• Expand distribution, visibility, and brand recognition through activations, training, and demonstrations.
• Use performance data to identify opportunities and guide distributor personnel toward market growth.
