Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Program Supervisor to monitor and supervise direct care for behaviorally disordered youth, maintain a PEM-based therapeutic milieu, and ensure safety and orderly unit operations.

You will coordinate admissions, orient new staff, oversee BHT training in PEM, Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and related competencies, and serve as on-floor administrator after hours while collaborating with the Manager RTC Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in providing care for behaviorally disordered youth.
• Current CPR, PEM and safety restraint model training obtained during pre-service.
• Minimum age 20 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and pass annual MVR check.
• Complete required trainings within first year: Behavior Principles I-II, Coaching & Motivating, Consultation/Supervision, Crisis & Risk Management, Developing Staff through Observations, Difficult Conversations, Giving Conceptual Feedback, Model Fidelity concepts, and Philosophy of Consultation.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and develop staff to ensure a safe, organized unit.
• Comply with emergency safety policies and determine room assignments for safety.
• Collaborate with Manager RTC Program to implement PEM across staff.
• Complete monthly direct observation and consultations with Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs).
• Orient new BHTs and assist with new hire checks.
• Facilitate youth treatment plans and provide direct youth care when needed.
• Maintain quality treatment environment per QA/CI Committees and safety standards.
• Assist admissions and orient youth to unit guidelines.
• Act as on-floor Administrator during non-business hours and communicate issues to leadership.
• Work day, evening, weekend and occasional overnight shifts.
