Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a dedicated Youth Care position to provide direct care and supervision under the Psychoeducational Model (PEM). The role emphasizes safe environments, clear documentation, and proactive teaching.

Evening shifts are available, with every other weekend required, in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 20 years of age, with CPR/PEM training and personal restraint model certification to be completed during pre-service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, PEM familiarity and training must be obtained during pre-service training.
• Nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Immunizations up to date per Employee Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct youth care and supervision to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor youth in high risk areas and ensure safety.
• Document youth behavior and activity in behaviorally specific language.
• Meet documentation timelines and follow program/hospital guidelines.
• Build trusting relationships with youth and maintain boundaries.
• Respond calmly to concerns or crises and communicate professionally.
