Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two- or four-year respiratory care program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and NC licensure required.
• Current BLS certification; PALS/NRP within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors oxygen delivery and prescribed therapies.
• Operates mechanical and noninvasive ventilators with appropriate care.
• Evaluates and adjusts therapies per protocols and plans of care.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the care team.
• Maintains EMR documentation and safety/compliance standards.
