Job summary

Northwest Healthcare is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist – RRT for full-time day shifts. You will administer respiratory care per physician orders, monitor patient responses, and document care outcomes while collaborating with care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT certification required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP and STABLE required if NICU department.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments, assesses patients, and monitors responses.
• Educates patients on treatment modalities to encourage cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures and pulmonary testing as assigned.
• Maintains equipment, adheres to safety and infection control standards.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
