Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy per physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

This role offers a 36-hour weekly schedule, a sign-on bonus of $10,000, and comprehensive benefits. A state RCP license and NBRC RRT credential are required; ACLS preferred for critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certification: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ER requires PALS; ACLS preferred for critical care.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory therapy as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and serves as an advanced resource.
• Performs duties as assigned; participates in team care per shift.
