Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care and consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness. The role serves as a respiratory care resource for medical teams and supports duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, active state RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS/PALS as indicated. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP) per state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.
• ER experience with PALS certification preferred for ER staff.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for respiratory therapies per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Serve as a resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
