Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory services per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource to physicians and nursing staff.

The role includes a sign-on bonus and a 36-hour work week, with opportunities to support patient care in a dynamic team environment. Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved program, current RCP licensure, and NBRC RRT credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and acts as a resource for care teams.
• Performs duties as assigned and uses respiratory care devices as appropriate.
