Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, performing spirometry and PFTs, and educating patients on inhalers and nebulizers. The role requires current RRT licensure and strong teamwork in a busy clinical setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pulmonologists to develop individualized treatment plans, administer albuterol after testing, and ensure patient safety and comfort through careful monitoring and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• Experience performing spirometry testing.
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred.
• AARC Office Spirometry Certificate accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pulmonologists to develop treatment plans.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests using spirometry equipment.
• Educate patients on test preparation, equipment, and medications such as albuterol.
• Administer albuterol after pulmonary function examinations.
• Maintain safe, clean environments and follow safety protocols.
