Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support adults and neonates with ABG, PFTs, and ventilator care. The role requires BLS/ACLS, NBRC registration, and Texas licensure.

You will work under indirect supervision, perform respiratory therapeutics, and participate in diagnostics, patient assessments, and equipment maintenance.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NRP/PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Texas license in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• NBRC RRT registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning, aerosol/humidity therapy, IPPB, and chest physiotherapy.
• Performs and reports prescribed cardiopulmonary diagnostics such as ABG, pulse oximetry, PFTs, and ECGs.
• Prepares treatment evaluations including bedside assessments and review of medical records.
• Interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data to guide patient care.
• Operates and troubleshoots CP devices like ventilators and gas analyzers.
• Maintains infection control, safety and quality assurance, and cleans work areas.

Educación

Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program

Current Basic Life Support certification

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification

NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support must obtain within 1 year of hire

Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board

Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care

Minimum 6 months respiratory care experience
