Medical Solutions Direct Hire seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time night shift in Peoria Heights, IL. The role includes ventilator management, medications administration, and patient education across all ages.

The position offers sign-on bonuses of $15,000 or $25,000 based on commitment, with a pay range of $31.49–$37.05 per hour and applicable night and weekend differentials. Comprehensive benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC required.
• Current state license as an RCP, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire for new grads.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS required for Airway Manager or Transport roles.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Administer medical gases, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory modalities.
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP devices, and other life-support equipment.
• Perform airway clearance therapies, oxygen titration, and emergency airway management.
• Evaluate patient response and modify care plans as needed based on clinical assessment and data.
• Document all care, assessments, and interventions in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans.
• Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure department readiness for emergent situations.
