Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. Responsibilities include assessments, treatments, ventilator management, airway support, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential, valid state license, and BLS certification; ACLS is preferred or as required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital or acute care respiratory therapy experience (Preferred)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (Required)
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred or Required based on facility requirements)

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory assessments and monitors patients' respiratory status.
• Administers respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and other therapies as ordered.
• Manages ventilators and other respiratory equipment according to established protocols.
• Assists with airway management and responds to respiratory emergencies.
• Monitors patient response to treatments and communicates changes to the healthcare team.
• Educates patients and families regarding respiratory care and treatment.
• Documents assessments, treatments, and patient response in the medical record.
