Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a respected Las Vegas healthcare provider to recruit a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time position in Las Vegas.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat cardiopulmonary conditions, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and support patient education and safety in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hospital experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and interpret results to develop treatment plans for cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Perform EKGs, assist with intubations, and manage ventilators.
• Administer respiratory treatments, airway care, and ventilation management.
• Provide respiratory care consultation and guidance to physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.
• Offer technical expertise to ensure proper equipment use and adherence to best practices.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will be responsible for providingcomprehensive cardiopulmonary care, including assessment, diagnostic evaluation,interpretation, and treatment of patients. This role also involves consulting,offering technical direction, and providing instruction to physicians, nurses,and other healthcare staff.
