Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide and administer all aspects of respiratory care under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services. The role includes evaluating patients, managing ventilators and life support, and ensuring compliance with infection control policies in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications include AMA-approved Respiratory Care program completion, an Associate degree, NJ RCP license, and BLS/HCP certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosis, treatment and management of pulmonary disorders under physician prescription.
• Perform cardiopulmonary evaluation and respiratory therapy procedures.
• Record procedures and patient responses in the EMR (EPIC).
• Operate and monitor invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment.
• Oversee staff and ensure compliance with department policies.
