Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders under physician supervision.
• Performs cardiopulmonary evaluation, monitoring and educational activities for patients and families.
• Administers and monitors respiratory care procedures and related equipment as prescribed.
• Records patient data in the electronic medical record system (EPIC).
• Responds to emergencies and trauma codes and ensures equipment readiness.
• Oversees certification compliance and staff performance within the department.
