Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Harrisonville, MO. Schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3 shifts.

This role offers a chance to extend the contract based on performance and staffing needs. The clinician will evaluate patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary issues, administer treatments, configure and monitor ventilators, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT credentials and active state licensure required.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with composure and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with respiratory issues and interpret tests.
• Administer treatments like oxygen therapy and ventilation.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment and devices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families on managing conditions like COPD.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses on care plans.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies with life-saving interventions.
