Job summary

Astrya Global is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Purcell, Oklahoma. Schedule is 7:00AM - 7:00PM, three consecutive days, with potential extension based on needs.

The role involves assessing patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary issues and delivering therapies to improve breathing. Responsibilities include setting up ventilators and CPAP equipment, monitoring devices, documenting care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC CRT or RRT credentials and valid state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary issues by reviewing history, exams, and tests.
• Administer treatments to improve breathing (oxygen, ventilation, chest physiotherapy, inhalation therapy).
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Maintain proper function and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Respond to emergencies with life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on managing chronic respiratory conditions.
• Document changes in condition and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to develop care plans.
