Job summary

Pioneer Human Services seeks a Temporary Case Manager for the Residential Reentry Center to plan and manage reentry plans for residents referred by FBOP, USPO, and USPT. You will assist with employment, housing, treatment access, and independent living skills in a community transition setting.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing IPPs, coordinating services, and ensuring documentation and compliance with program policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in the human services, social sciences or related field required.
• 2 years of experience in the human services, criminal justice or correctional system(s) or related field.
• Must become certified in LS/CMI risk-needs assessment within 90 days of hire.
• Must go through PREA training within first month of hire.
• Must become certified in Moral Recognition Therapy within one year of hire.
• Must pass and maintain security clearances as required by FBOP.
• Must pass CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive risk-needs-responsivity assessment (LS/CMI) and PREA Risk Assessment.
• Orient residents to program rules and expectations.
• Develop IPPs utilizing SMART goals.
• Align IPP interventions to criminogenic needs.
• Document detailed case notes across all phases of the program.
• Make referrals for mental health, substance use treatment, housing, and other needs.
• Conduct field work like initial home investigations and monthly checks.
• Facilitate cognitive-behavioral skill-building sessions.
