Job summary

Renewal, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Case Manager to provide guidance, direction, and management of reentrants and their activities. You will be the primary contact for reentrants and assist with their social service needs and renewal plans.

The role involves enforcing program guidelines, referrals to internal and external resources, and maintaining records. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience are required; CBT/Motivational Interviewing knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in related field.
• Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work with reentrants and referral sources.

Responsibilities

• Determine reentrants' social service needs and develop Individual Renewal Plans.
• Provide guidance, direction, and management of reentrants and activities.
• Refer to Renewal, Inc. programs or outside agencies as needed.
• Maintain reentrant records and assist center administration.
• Help reentrants set aftercare goals and plan release into the community.
