Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital Sleep Lab Team is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) for full-time night shifts. You will run sleep studies, apply sensors, calibrate equipment, and fit PAP masks.

The role includes scoring sleep stages and generating reports to support the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Licensed technicians with RPSGT and BLS are preferred; high school diploma required, bachelor's in psychology or related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification is required.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run sleep studies on patients and manage room setup and inventories.
• Apply electrodes and sensors; calibrate and maintain PSG equipment; fit PAP masks as needed.
• Perform sleep studies, initiate and monitor therapy modes.
• Recognize and manage various respiratory conditions impacting sleep.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events; generate and transfer reports.
