Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a part-time Registered Polysomnographic Technician for the Sleep Center in the Capital Region.

This night-shift, per-diem role supports high-quality sleep testing with collaboration from Licensed Polysomnography Technicians and advancement opportunities through a strong orientation program. Candidates should have 1–3 years in a sleep lab, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to use applied technology in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a valid Polysomnogram License in NYS.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy License in NYS. Sleep disorder specialist adds on or are registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, preferred.

Responsibilities

• A lead worker who performs sleep testing procedures with high technical quality.
• Identify abnormalities and ensure tests adhere to department standards.
• Serve as a resource for Licensed Polysomnography Technicians.
