Job summary

Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, Idaho seeks a dedicated Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT) to join our Sleep Lab team. The RPSGT will conduct sleep studies, evaluate patients, and provide accurate diagnostic data to physicians while maintaining AASM accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will have BRPT certification, Idaho PSG or RT license, and current BLS. Responsibilities include study scoring, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with physicians during office hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered by the BRPT.
• Idaho Polysomnographic Technologist (PSG) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accreditation with the American Association of Sleep Medicine and update policies as needed.
• Communicate with physicians regarding sleep studies during physician hours.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all sleep lab equipment and supplies.
• Oversee scheduling to meet facility, physician, and patient needs.
• Perform and score out-of-center sleep studies during day shifts.
• Score in-house sleep studies from overnight tests.
• Conduct MSLT during the day shift.
• Perform overnight oximetry, educate patients, and submit reports to ordering physicians.
