Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a UAS Operations Specialist (RPIC) to join Flight Operations. You will complete FAA-approved training, attain aircraft qualification, and maintain currency and proficiency for Part 135 operations.

As you progress, you may be selected for Flight Instructor, Ground Instructor, or Check Pilot roles based on performance and program needs, with additional qualifications and FAA approval as required.

Qualifications

• FAA Remote Pilot Certificate with a small UAS rating and Part 107 knowledge currency.
• Commercial UAS or aviation flight experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace, weather, aircraft limits, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as commercial UAS RPIC under supervision of Flight Operations leadership.
• Complete required ground/flight training and qualification checks.
• Maintain pilot certificates, currency, recurrent training, and medical eligibility where required.
• Perform preflight planning, weather/airspace review, mission execution, and post-flight duties.
• Apply FAA authorizations, SOPs, and checklists to all operations.
• Support Part 107 operations, flight testing, and development activities.
• Document flight activities, training, and operational records with accuracy.
