Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Right-of-Way Project Manager to lead planning and management of ROW acquisition for major infrastructure projects in the Fairfax, VA or Washington, D.C. area.

You will coordinate with engineers, environmental specialists, and government agencies to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance. The role requires 8–12 years in ROW or land use planning, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, land use planning, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local ROW regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and management of right-of-way acquisition strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with engineers, environmental specialists, government agencies, landowners, and legal teams for seamless execution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact with stakeholders including agencies, utilities, and community groups.
• Oversee documentation, prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies, and monitor project risks.
