Job summary

State of Tennessee’s Department of Transportation seeks a ROW Acquisition and Relocation Technical Specialist with expertise in negotiation, title work, and relocation planning. The role supports statewide projects, ensures compliance with the Uniform Act, and collaborates with project managers to deliver efficient transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ROW functions in accordance with the Uniform Act and TDOT ROW Manual
• Conduct negotiations for low-value parcels and assist in closings
• Determine relocation benefit eligibility and provide advisory services
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain thorough documentation
• Assist with field research, data collection, and plan reviews
• Support project teams and maintain matrix-organization collaboration
• Participate in risks assessment and value engineering discussions
