Job summary

AAFES is seeking a Roving Store Worker for the Kentucky Express Store. You will greet customers, assist with product recommendations, and handle transactions at the register while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

This role supports military members and families with flexible scheduling and access to base facilities. Benefits include medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a pension/401K plan for qualifying associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds (occasional lifting over 50 pounds).
• Flexible to work between 2:00pm - 11:00pm, Mon-Sun.

As a Roving Store Worker at the Exchange, you will be a part of an award-winning team. • Greet every customer with eye contact and smile in your authentic way
• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to the register to let them know you’ll be right with them.
• Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation

Job Qualifications

Education: High school or equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9-month for 9-month basis.

If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.

This position is located in the Kentucky Express Store.
Must be available to work between the hours of 2:00pm - 11:00pm Mon - Sun.
