Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (the Exchange) is hiring a Customer Experience Associate for on-base retail locations in Ohio. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and assist shoppers with bagging and heavy item handling while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability on Sundays 9:45 AM - 5:00 PM and Mondays through Saturdays 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with retail technology.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge customers waiting at the lane and assist promptly.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Help customers bag merchandise and move large or heavy items safely.

As a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange, you will be a part of an award winning team. • Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane to let them know you’ll be right with them
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation
• Help customers by following the proper procedure for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items

Job Qualifications

Completion of High School or the equivalent.

Availability needed: Sunday 9:45AM-5:00PM, Monday-Saturday 8:45AM-6:00PM.
