Job summary
The Morrow Companies in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Rover Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across multiple properties, ensuring safe and functional living spaces for residents.
You will handle routine tasks, respond to emergencies, inspect properties, log maintenance data in the management software, and collaborate with managers and coordinators on special projects.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in facility management.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software.
Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, painting and repairs to prepare vacant units.
- Emergency Response: handle emergencies during normal hours and be on call after hours.
- Property Inspections: conduct regular inspections and log defects.
- Record Keeping: enter daily maintenance information into property management software.
- Customer Service: provide excellent service to residents and address requests promptly.
- Collaboration: work with Resident Manager, Regional Managers and Maintenance Coordinators on special projects.
