Job summary

Morrow Realty Company is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Meadowood Apartments in Pell City, AL and Red Oak Ridge Apartments in Lincoln, AL. The role covers maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds upkeep to prepare vacancies for occupancy.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance needs, organizing the maintenance shop, and assisting the Site Manager with preventive maintenance. On-call weekend service may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and grounds work.
• Preferred: apartment maintenance experience, CPO certification, HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of properties, systems and fixtures.
• Handle heating and AC maintenance tasks.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, window and floor repairs.
• Repair walls and doors, paint apartments as scheduled.
• Ensure vacant apartments are ready for occupancy in a timely manner.
• Assist Site Manager with preventive maintenance program and maintain equipment.
