Job summary

Wells Fargo is seeking a customer-focused banking support professional to operate across assigned branch locations. You will actively engage customers, identify their needs, and connect them with appropriate products and services while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

You will travel across the geographic area 100% of the time and cover branch gaps as needed, including weekends. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, accurate transactions, and collaboration with banking

• Experience in financial services or highly regulated roles preferred

• Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
• Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs
• Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
• Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs
• Connect customers with relevant banking products, services, and solutions
• Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals
• Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
• Perform cash handling and teller line activities
• Process transactions accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards
• Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
• Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
• Coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers and other specialists
• Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities across assigned branches

Requirements

• 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role preferred
• Experience building trust-based customer relationships preferred
• Comfort initiating outreach through calls, emails, or other channels preferred
• Comfort with digital tools and technology and ability to learn new systems preferred
• Ability to identify customer needs and connect them to appropriate solutions preferred
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners preferred
• Ability to follow policies and regulations and elevate risk concerns preferred
• Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
• SAFE registration required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date
• Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
• Must comply with Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
