Qualifications

• Six months to one year of preparing and serving food; institutional food service experience is desired.
• Knowledge of reading, writing in English and basic math; basic food preparation and sanitary handling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals for breakfast, lunch and a la carte menus.
• Operates, maintains and cleans commercial kitchen equipment and handles packaging.
• May supervise student workers and assist in training NS Trainees.
• Follows Nutrition Services regulations, sanitation practices and safety standards.
