Venterra Realty in Orlando, FL seeks a Roving Neighborhood Services Technician to prepare vacant apartments by completing repairs, installations, and inspections, ensuring all units meet our standards. The role supports the maintenance team and directly impacts resident satisfaction and property appeal.

You will travel within your region, performing intermediate plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC tasks, with attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred.
• Experience in make-ready, maintenance, or related field.
• Venterra certification of intermediate level plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple unit turns efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining company standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call rotation.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs. (occasional/constant)

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring features work per the TQMR program.
• Perform intermediate maintenance tasks: light fixture replacements, minor plumbing repairs, appliance checks, HVAC PM, drywall patching.
• Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards.
• Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the maintenance team with work orders and groundskeeping as needed.
• Maintain property curb appeal: grounds, parking, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
• Work independently while following standards, showing attention to detail and resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and standards.
• Travel daily to assigned communities within a region (typically within 25 miles).
