Job summary

Westport Properties is seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to join our roving team. You’ll travel between properties to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting and general repairs, ensuring homes are safe and ready for residents.

You’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, keep maintenance logs, assist with snow removal, and enjoy benefits including monthly bonuses, tool reimbursements, and comprehensive medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Maintenance role requiring hands-on skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring and painting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with tablets and basic computer use for work orders.
• EPA and HVAC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain (exam fee reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Travel to different properties to handle maintenance and repairs.
• Tackle jobs such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, landscaping, and more.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep operations running smoothly.
• Prep units for new residents and perform regular upkeep on existing ones.
• Occasionally stay on-call (~every other week).
• Keep maintenance logs and assist with snow removal during winter.
