Job summary

Cook Properties is seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain and repair our manufactured housing communities. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance across multiple properties, including interior and exterior repairs on park-owned homes, and assist with plumbing, heating, and electrical tasks.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, organized, and capable of working independently while juggling priorities.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors 80-90% of the time, year-round.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, construction, or related fields.
• Willingness to travel between multiple communities and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance across multiple properties and park-owned homes.
• Complete work orders efficiently while following maintenance procedures.
• Maintain grounds, including trash removal and seasonal lawn care.
• Oversee outside contractors as needed and track inventory.
• Address plumbing and electrical issues in mobile homes and underground systems.
• Deliver notices or lease violations as needed and uphold community standards.
• Conduct regular property walk-throughs to maintain quality living environment.
