NorthPoint Development, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer in Detroit, MI to maintain and repair multiple industrial buildings.

The role requires hands-on expertise across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, with strong safety and regulatory awareness. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and EPA 608 certification, plus experience in commercial maintenance, reading blueprints, and coordinating with vendors.

Formación

• Experience maintaining commercial/industrial properties.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong attention to safety, EPA/OSHA regulations knowledge.
• Demonstrated teamwork and customer service orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair all aspects of commercial/industrial real estate across multiple buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, doors, windows, and fire sprinkler systems.
• Read, understand, and utilize wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and controls.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors and manage safety records.
