Job summary

NorthPoint Development in Dallas, TX, seeks a Building Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair multiple industrial buildings. You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems, read technical drawings, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure property integrity.

Ideal candidates have commercial maintenance experience, a HS diploma/GED, and EPA 608 certification. This roving role includes mileage reimbursement and collaboration with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• High school diploma or GED or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all aspects of commercial/industrial real estate across multiple buildings.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related building systems.
• Read, understand and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors; obtain bids and manage work.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulatory requirements.
