Dogtopia in Fishkill, NY is seeking a friendly Rover who helps in dog care, front desk duties, andplayroom supervision. The role includes daily interaction with pets and Pet Parents, with opportunities to cross-train as Canine Coach and Customer Coordinator.

Applicants should love dogs, be energetic, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, with training leading to broader responsibilities and POS use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–6 months in a high-volume animal care setting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients as they enter and exit Dogtopia.
• Check pups in and out of daycare and manage attendance.
• Conduct dog evaluations and monitor safety in play areas.
• Answer questions from Pet Parents in person and over the phone.
• Assist across departments at the front desk and playroom.
• Explain daycare packages and memberships to Pet Parents.

This role will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach & Pet Parent Coordinator. This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you!
