Job summary

Dogtopia is seeking a Rover at our Avon, CT location who will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach & Pet Parent Coordinator. You should love dogs, stay fast-paced, and be able to switch from the playroom to the front desk with ease.

You will greet clients, answer questions, check pups in and out, explain daycare packages, and conduct dog evaluations while helping the team deliver a safe, fun experience for every pup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 3–6 months experience in a high-volume animal care setting preferred.
• Must love dogs and demonstrate a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and answer questions in person or by phone.
• Check pups in and out of daycare and share information about packages.
• Conduct dog evaluations and monitor safety and cleanliness.
• Assist in multiple areas of the business and support teamwork.

This role will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach & Pet Parent Coordinator. This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!About the Rover Role:The focus of the Rover is to ensure a safe and fun play environment for each pup while supervising the team to ensure all standards are being met ensuring safety and superior customer service are at the forefront of everything.You are responsible for being a multi-tasker and assisting in all areas of the business, able to jump from a playroom to the front desk with ease.You care for all furry friends as if they were a part of your family.Creating the Most Exciting Day Ever for the pups in your playroom.You interact with dogs and are always on stage.
