Job Summary:
Custodial Rovers work under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor(s), with flexible hours for day or night shifts. They communicate with District and site administrators regarding the care, cleaning, and maintenance of school facilities. Responsibilities include sanitation, maintenance, safety, comfort, and security of school or district buildings to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff.

Working Environment:
The job involves sitting, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs occasionally; lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs frequently; bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, and twisting. Repetitive actions with both hands are required. Walking and standing are continuous activities. Exposure to heights, dust, fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, and moving machinery may occur. Typical activity distribution: 65% walking, 20% standing, 15% sitting.
