The purpose of this position is to maintain the health center in a clean, sanitary, and secure condition. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist. The Custodian must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, and adaptable to daily changes without supervision.

Duties Include

1. Custodial Operations

• Maintain interior areas in a clean condition, including offices, lobbies, hallways, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas. Tasks include dusting, cleaning windows, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping walls, emptying trash, disinfecting touch surfaces, and trash pickup in parking lots and surrounding areas.
• Operate disinfecting robots as scheduled.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms after use and at day’s end.
• Ensure bathrooms are clean, disinfected, and stocked.
• Maintain organized supplies and secure equipment storage.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in other governmental buildings as needed.

1. General Facilities Work

• Report building repairs and perform small repairs like unclogging drains, furniture assembly, minor wall, floor, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Assist Facilities Laborers as needed.
• Manage building keys responsibly.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with tribal staff.

1. Health and Safety

• Follow safety and health regulations, wear protective gear, and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Lock doors and secure windows when alone.

1. Customer Satisfaction

• Ensure high-quality work with attention to detail and minimal disruption to staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
