Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical transmission routing and substation siting projects for utilities. You will provide project management, act as routing/siting or environmental permitting SME, supervise staff, and drive proposal writing and client engagement.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with regulators, and ensure projects move toward closure with cost-effective planning. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience executing medium to complex routing and siting projects.
• Advanced skills in technical writing.
• Understanding GIS processes and capabilities (desirable).
• Strong communication with clients, engineers and regulators.
• Discipline in project execution and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks and projects per scope; deliver quality reports on time and budget.
• Lead routing and siting studies for linear energy projects.
• Support business development: proposals, pre-qualifications, client relationships.
• Interface with clients and environmental regulators; prepare contract documents.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical direction.
