Stantec is seeking a Transmission & Distribution Routing and Siting Project Manager to lead complex projects in the Mountain Region and across North America. The role focuses on strategic direction, technical excellence, and strong client relationships for utility and energy clients.

You will mentor teams, drive GIS-driven workflows, and position the company for major pursuits while advancing routing methodologies, environmental planning, and regulatory strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geography, planning, engineering, GIS, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in transmission siting, routing, permitting, utility consulting, or related infrastructure sectors.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee regional transmission routing and siting projects for utility and energy clients.
• Provide strategic direction for routing methodologies, technical standards, and project delivery approaches.
• Serve as a senior technical resource on complex transmission routing studies, alternatives analyses, and permitting strategies.
• Collaborate with regional and national leaders to support long-term program growth and operational excellence.
• Support strategic pursuits and major proposals for transmission developers and key clients.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with utility clients and industry stakeholders.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Lead and/or advise multidisciplinary teams delivering routing, siting, environmental planning, and regulatory support services.
• May supervise staff and provide mentorship to professionals across the region.
