Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transmission & Distribution Routing and Siting Project Manager to lead regional efforts within the Mountain Region for Environmental Services. Based in the U.S.

and capable of working across multiple states, you will guide routing studies, permitting strategies, and project delivery for utility-scale transmission projects. You will mentor teams, advance GIS-enabled workflows, and collaborate with sector leaders to win major proposals and expand client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geography, planning, engineering, GIS, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in transmission siting, routing, permitting, utility consulting, or related infra sectors.
• Experience leading national programs, technical practices, or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance regional transmission routing and siting projects for utility clients.
• Provide strategic direction for routing methodologies, standards, and delivery approaches.
• Serve as a senior technical resource on routing studies and permitting strategies.
• Collaborate with regional and national sector leaders to support growth and excellence.
• Support major proposals for transmission developers and key clients.
• Develop relationships with utility clients and stakeholders.
