Job summary

Valley Services is seeking a detail-oriented Routing Coordinator to ensure accurate recurring service routes for construction sites, businesses, and events across the Bay Area. You will review additions, cancellations, and frequency changes, coordinate with dispatch and drivers, and continuously improve routing efficiency to deliver reliable daily service.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy and integrity of all recurring service routes.
• Review system-generated routes and adjust based on customer requirements and service frequencies.
• Ensure customer additions, cancellations, and frequency changes are reflected in the routing system.
• Verify active customers are scheduled properly and inactive sites are removed.
• Balance driver workloads while maintaining high customer service.
• Review routes daily to identify discrepancies before they impact customers or drivers.
• Verify customer information including service frequencies, access instructions, and special requirements.
• Audit routing information to keep accounts accurate and up-to-date.
• Prevent unnecessary trips caused by outdated information and routes.
• Maintain organized routing documentation and records.
• Collaborate with Pickup & Delivery Router, Dispatch, Customer Service, Operations, and Drivers to improve routing efficiency.
