Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Routing Supervisor to manage daily routing operations for our delivery fleet across multiple distribution centers. You will create and adjust routes, monitor delivery times, and coordinate with drivers, sales, transportation, warehouse and customer service to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, budgeting, and ensuring DOT compliance while leveraging Roadnet to optimize run rates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years in distribution/logistics or related work experience.
• Experience with routing, scheduling, and route optimization.
• Familiarity with Roadnet and AS400 routing tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day routing operations for delivery fleet.
• Create and adjust routes, compute delivery times and costs.
• Ensure routing software is up to date and compliant with DOT guidelines.
• Lead staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with drivers, sales, transportation, warehouse and customer service.
• Monitor weekly/monthly routing performance and implement improvements.
