Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Lead Routing & Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily routing and dispatch operations at the Braselton distribution center. You will serve as a hands-on leader, guiding drivers, carriers, and team members while upholding process standards and safety rules.

Based on-site, you will cover supervisor tasks as needed, coordinate load planning, and drive continuous improvement in routing efficiency and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in transportation, routing, dispatch, or DC operations.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory support role.
• Proficiency with routing systems and transportation operations.
• Strong MS Office and WMS knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Routing & Dispatch Administrators and associates with daily operations.
• Coordinate daily routing and dispatch activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor real-time routes, adjust plans, and handle escalations to resolve issues.
• Prepare, review, and publish transportation reports; identify routing and cost-improvement opportunities.
